The Wire
Information, the moment the filing hits.
Polls primary sources — SEC EDGAR 8-Ks for your watchlist, the FDA press feed, openFDA recalls — and publishes short, verified briefs within minutes. Verification is never skipped; anything low-confidence is held for your review.
No Anthropic API key configured — the Wire will detect documents but can't write briefs until you add a key in Settings.

Pre-staging is off (WIRE_PRESTAGE). Briefs can be staged manually but won't auto-fire on a filing until it's enabled.
Coverage planner
Tell the desk what to cover.
Try: "go through the major cancer types and propose an article for each based on what came out of ASCO this year," or "what moved in checkpoint inhibitors this month? one roundup." Plans are proposals; nothing generates until you approve.
Personalization desk

Step 1 · Pick the stories
Curate today's digest.
Check the published stories you want in the email, in any edition. Claude drafts the summary; nothing sends until you approve it.
Step 2 · Draft & send
Claude writes, you approve.

Beta testing
Test without spending tokens
Creates a complete sample draft with zero API calls and zero token spend. Publish it, edit it, send it in the digest: the whole loop, free.
Model
Which model writes
Use Haiku for cheap trial runs while beta testing, then switch up for production quality.
Autopilot
Robot operator
Generates the day's two roundups at the generate hour, publishes them after a hold window so you can spike or edit, then sends a curated digest at the digest hour. Mon–Fri only. Everything it produces is fully editable from Stories.

Only these accounts can open the Desk. Emails listed in ADMIN_EMAILS (.env) are permanent; emails added here can be managed in place.
Campaigns
Marketing trial codes
A campaign code gives a new reader a longer free trial (their card is still captured, so it converts to paid unless they cancel). Share the link below for each campaign. Different from reader referral codes — campaigns have no referrer reward.
